Research progress of biological pesticide spinetoram
Spinosyns was a new type of high-efficiency biological insecticide,had significant inhibitory effect against a variety of pests.Spinosad and spinetoram,as the first and second generation commercial products of spinosyns,had high insecticidal activity,fast degradation rate,and low toxicities to environment and non-target animals.The physical and chemical characteristics,insecticidal mechanism,application,synthesis and derivative research of spinetoram were discussed in this article.Prospects for the future research of spinosyns were also discussed.
