The co-toxicity and control effect of the mixtures of phenamacril and prothioconazole against wheat scab
In order to develop new pesticide formulations for control of wheat scab, the toxicities of phenamacril, prothioconazole and their mixtures against wheat scab were determined by mycelium growth rate method under lab conditions, and the field trials on wheat scab were carried out using the formulation prepared by the optimal ratio. The lab toxicity test results showed that the mixture of phenamacril and prothioconazole at the mass ratio of 1.5∶1 showed the highest additive effect, with the co-toxicity coefficient of 111.91.The results of the field trials showed that phenamacril·prothioconazole 30%SC 900 mL/hm2 could provide good control effect on wheat scab, with the control effect of 91.11%after two doses, and it was safe to wheat, the yield increasing rate was 32.46%.It had good development potential.
