Research on Aging Resistance of Hexene Copolymerized LLDPE
The mechanical properties,end-group distribution,carbonyl index,aggregation structure,molecular chain branching and distribution of hexene copolymerized linear low density polyethylene(LLDPE)before and after aging were characterized and compared.The results show that LLDPE is prone to crosslinking and degradation reactions during the aging process.Compared with LLDPE,metallocene linear low density polyethylene(mLLDPE)has more double bonds at the ends,smaller chip thickness,more homogeneous comonomers,and poor aging resistance.
