Effects of Nucleating Agent and Rubber Phase on Properties of High Glossiness Impact PP
The effects of sorbitol nucleating agents(nucleating agent A)and organic phosphate salt nucleating agents(nucleating agent B and nucleating agent C)on the rigidity, toughness, heat resistance, surface glossiness and other properties of high glossiness impact polypropylene(PP)were compared, and the effect of the amount of nano-rubber particles on sample properties was studied. The results show that as the rubber phase content decreases, the rigidity and glossiness of the sample gradually increase, and the thermal deformation temperature significantly increases, but the impact strength gradually decreases. When the mass fraction of nucleating agent is 0.10%,nucleating agent B and nucleating agent C can significantly improve the rigidity, heat resistance and glossiness of PP.Nucleating agent A does not have an ideal effect on increasing the rigidity and brightness of PP.As the content of nanorubber decreases, the rigidity, heat resistance and glossiness of the sample gradually increase while the toughness gradually deteriorates.
