Study on Rapid Testing Method of Aging Resistance of Powder Coating Aluminum Alloy Building Profiles by Ultraviolet Lamp
In order to obtain a fast test method suitable for the factory to control the quality of aging resistance of powder coated aluminum profiles,the relationship between the results of fluorescent UV lamp accelerated aging test and the 1 000 hours xenon lamp artificial weathering test was studied.The test samples were powder coated aluminum plates made of powder coatings with different weather resistance grades.The gloss and color changes of the combined fluorescent UV lamp accelerated aging test and the 1 000 hours xenon lamp artificial weathering test were tested respectively,and the correlation coefficient between the two results was 0.85~0.89.The 216 hours combined ultraviolet lamp artificial accelerated aging test can approximately accurately simulate the 1 000 hours xenon lamp aging test results.The test method can be used as the internal quality control method of the factory.
