On the new journey of Chinese path to modernization,China's special education faces the transformation from traditional special education to new special education.The new special education takes the Chinese path to modernization as its fundamental task and axiological feature,the establishment of an integrated interdisciplinary knowledge system as its ontological feature,and the new construction of empiricism as its basic methodological feature.To develop the new special education,it should firmly establish the people-centered values,adopt the strategy of integration and innovation,make use of the two-wheel drive of the government and the society to carry out individualized and inquiring education,emphasis on teamwork and cooperation,and strengthen the high-quality development of special normal education.
