A sample survey of five special education schools in Guangdong Province finds that the social adaptive capacity of hearing-impaired secondary school students is mainly affected by factors such as learning methods,learning initiative,level of expectation,communication skills,and support from significant others.Their career adaptability is generally low,interpersonal adaptability needs to be improved and self-adjustment ability is weak.They have a variety of emotion regulation methods and better emotion regulation effects.They have their unique understanding of"friends",and junior high school students with hearing impairment may have taken"character"as the basis and core of"friends".
