A Qualitative Study on the Factors Influencing Home-School Cooperation in Special Education School From the Perspective of Teachers
Good home-school cooperation is not only a strategic necessity for the development of special education cause in China,but also an important foundation for the construction of a high-quality special education system.This study adopts the research method of Grounded Theory to investigate the factors affecting home-school cooperation in special education,and constructs a theoretical model based on the association between three main categories of parental factors,teacher factors and environmental factors,and seven main categories of parenting style,cognitive base,commitment,teacher quality,workload,school support and community support.Based on the interpretation of the theoretical model,specific suggestions are made to improve the initiative of parents in order to give full play to the main role of families,to improve the ability of teachers in order to create a home-school cooperation community,and to enhance environmental support so as to build a concentric circle of home-school support.
