Mental Health Level Monitoring of Parents of Children With Autism in China:A Meta-Analysis Based on the SCL-90 Scale
This study aims to understand the psychological health level of parents of children with autism in China,and to explore the moderating factors that affect the psychological health status of parents of children with autism.With"autism","parents",and"psychological health"as keywords,relevant literature published in domestic journals,measuring the psychological health status of parents of children with autism in China,by the SCL-90 scale was collected and compiled from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang,and VIP databases from the time of database establishment until June 2023.A total of 11 articles were selected,with an effective sample size of 15 and 897 participants.The Mate analysis results show that,compared with the 1986 and 2010 norms,the psychological health level of parents of children with autism in China was significantly lower than that of ordinary adults,with anxiety being the most prominent factor.Heterogeneity tests suggest significant heterogeneity in the results,and further moderation analysis show that parents of children with autism aged 3-7 are more likely to have psychological health problems,and parents in western regions have more severe psychological health problems than those in central and eastern regions.Parental gender and detection time are not significantly correlated with psychological health level.
