Previous National Special Education Work Conferences and Special Education System With Chinese Characteristics
Since entering the period of reform and opening up and socialist modernization,China has held a number of national special education work conferences,which is an important event in the 75-year history of special education in New China,and has had a profound impact on the improvement of the special education system with Chinese characteristics.This paper explains the important impact on improving the special education system with Chinese characteristics by the background and main tasks of these working conferences,reveals the relationship between the development plans of special education at different stages and the strategic plans for socialist modernization,the national economic and social development plans,and the tasks of China's educational reform and development,and puts forward some key points of the"Chinese characteristics"of China's special education system.
