Research on the Current Situation and Needs of Teachers'Professional Development in Inclusive Education in Jiangsu Province
To objectively understand the basic situation and specialization of the construction of inclusive education teachers in Jiangsu Province,and to understand the needs of teachers'professional development,a self-compiled questionnaire was used to survey a total of 1609 inclusive education teachers in 13 cities in Jiangsu Province.The results show that the overall professional development level of inclusive education teachers in Jiangsu Province is relatively high;full-time inclusive education teachers with a special education professional background,who have passed the provincial inclusive education teacher qualification assessment,and who have worked in inclusive education for a long time have a higher level of professional development.It is further suggested that the ability of inclusive education teachers to solve the difficulties in their own educational environment should be improved through continuous and targeted support;it should focus on the internal and external supporting factors of individuals that influence teachers'professional development;it should also establish a parallel,classified,and hierarchical training model for the training of universal and professional inclusive education teachers.
