Compared with ordinary children, children with autism spectrum disorder have more difficulties in emotion regulation, which hinders the development of their life skills and social functions.By reviewing the relevant studies on emotion regulation of children with autism spectrum disorder in the past 20 years and combing through the existing disorders in emotion regulation of such children,it is found that there are two intervention paths for emotion regulation intervention of children with autism spectrum disorder from the perspective of neurobiology, including bottom-up and top-down intervention. In the future, relevant studies can be expanded and improved from the perspectives of intervention implementers, intervention targets and intervention objects.
