The Construction Path of"Multiple Mentorship System"Vocational Education in Schools for the Deaf Under the Modern Apprenticeship System:Take Wuxi Special Education School of Jiangsu Province as an Example
To address the shortage of vocational education teachers and the challenges of school-enterprise collaboration in educating students in schools for the deaf,Wuxi Special Education School of Jiangsu Province has innovatively proposed a"multiple mentorship system".This system integrates in-school subject mentors,moral education mentors,as well as external enterprise mentors and job masters to form a diversified and three-dimensional team of mentors,effectively alleviating the shortage of teachers and providing comprehensive and in-depth vocational education support for deaf students.The construction path of the"multiple mentorship system"is mainly through setting up standards to form a professional and efficient mentor team,improving the training mechanism to promote the growth of the team,and establishing a security system to ensure the stability of the team.Practice has proven that this system has a significant role in promoting innovation and development of vocational education in deaf schools,and it has also provided valuable experience for the promotion of modern apprenticeship system in this kind of school.
