In order to understand the level of social adjustment of hearing-impaired college students and its influencing factors,and to provide a basis for school education to improve these students'social adjustment level,this paper investigates the social adjustment status of 171 hearing-impaired college students by adopting the China College Student Adjustment Scale.The scores of the overall and various dimensions of social adjustment of hearing-impaired college students show that they have good adjustment levels,and from high to low,their dimensions of social adjustment are campus life adjustment,emotional adjustment,learning adjustment,satisfaction degree,interpersonal adjustment,self-adjustment,and career selection adjustment.The overall social adjustment level of hearing-impaired college students is significantly higher than the national norm,and has no significant difference from the norm of Beijing University of Chemical Technology;interpersonal relationship adjustment,campus life adjustment,career selection adjustment and self-adjustment are significantly lower than the norm of Beijing University of Chemical Technology;the duration of deafness has an important effect on the social adjustment of hearing-impaired college students;parents'hearing status,parents'marital status and family income have an impact on the satisfaction dimension.Based on the above results,school education should be targeted to improve the social adjustment of hearing-impaired college students.
