The number of IE students in rural areas including home-sent IE accounts for about 76.9%of the total number of students receiving IE,which indicates that rural IE is both a difficult point of IE and a key point of rural education. In order to appropriately place school-age children and youth with disabilities in rural areas to receive education,County A proposed and practiced the"One School With Two Points"rural inclusive education placement model with special education schools, local education committees, ordinary schools and parents as the main implementation body in 2018,and achieved certain results. In the future, the"One School With Two Points"inclusive education placement model still needs to be further optimized to form a new path for the development of rural inclusive education with the mechanism of synergy between special education and ordinary education as the core.
