Support for Higher Inclusive Education:Current Status,Challenges and Countermeasures
Inclusive education is a pivotal focus for advancing the high-quality development of education for persons with disabilities. This article explores the current status of support for higher inclusive education from the perspectives of the government,universities,families,and society. The study reveals that,despite significant progress have been made in higher inclusive education,there are still issues such as inadequate government policies and funding support,incomplete management and teaching support systems within universities,lack of family support,and need for social support to be enhanced. Therefore,it is imperative for the government to further refine its policies and funding support,for universities to improve accessibility and strengthen teacher training,and for families and society to bolster emotional support and communication for students with disabilities. These efforts are crucial for promoting the sustainable development of higher inclusive education and aiding students with disabilities in better integrating into society.
