Developing and Validating a Feedback Literacy Scale for EFL Teachers
Drawing on a literature review of teacher feedback literacy and insights from expert consultations and teacher interviews,this study developed and validated a feedback literacy scale for English teachers.A total of 651 English teachers participated in the survey.The results of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis reveal that(1)the scale meets the requirements of psychometric indicators,indicating good reliability and validity;(2)the scale comprises six factors including feedback knowledge,feedback design,technology application,relationship maintenance,feedback implementation and feedback disposition,with 32 items in total.The scale validates the existing theoretical framework of teacher feedback literacy,which can provide valuable insights for the measurement of English teachers'feedback literacy and feedback practices.
