Effect evaluation of rapid detection of coliform group in food
Objective To analyze the effect of complex chromogenic medium for rapid determination of coliform group in food inspection. Methods Coliform standard strains, other food-borne pathogens standard strains and 85 food samples were used as the research object, respectively. The fecal coliform detection method in national standard GB4789.3 and composite chromogenic culture method for fecal coliform were adopted to detect the pathogens. The detection time and accuracy were compared between the two method.A comprehensive evaluation of the effects of the composite chromogenic medium was made. Results Standard bacteria were inoculated on the composite color flat and VRBA flat.E.coli Freund's citric acid bacillus,Sewer e.coli,E.Sakazakii,Enterobacter aerogenes and Klebsiella pneumonia bacteria were growed on both of them, with the color of blue-green.There were no non-coliform bacteria including Shigella bacteria,Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Staphylococcus aureus on the composite color fiat after 18h training. There was no significant difference between the composite color fiat and VRBA fiat in the detection of coliform bacteria (P>0.05).Conclusion Compound chromogenic medium can quickly detect coliform group with high accuracy in food.It is worthy to be used in the detection of food.
