Analysis of CT features of pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis
Objective Exploring the CT features of pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis in order to improve its diagnostic level. Methods Retrospective collection of 92 patients with pneumoconiosis treated at Guangzhou Chest Hospital from January to December 2022,including 46 patients with concurrent pulmonary tuberculosis as the study group and 46 patients without concurrent pulmonary tuberculosis as the control group.By comparing the CT signs of two groups of patients, analyze the CT features of pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis. Results The detection rates of cavity, consolidation, tree bud sign, honeycomb shadow, patchy shadow, pleural thickening, and effusion in the study group were 36 cases(78.26%),18 cases(39.13%),29 cases(63.04%),7 cases(15.22%),18 cases(39.13%),and 17 cases(36.96%),respectively,higher than those in the control group(4 cases(8.70%),2 cases(4.35%),6 cases(13.04%),0 cases(0.00%),4 cases(8.70%),and 6 cases(13.04%),respectively),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared to simple pneumoconiosis, pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis is more likely to detect cavities, consolidations, dendritic signs, honeycomb shadows, patchy shadows, pleural thickening, and effusion on CT.
