Basic research on enhancement and quantitative analysis of spectral data by laser induced breakdown spectroscopy
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy is a kind of atomic emission spectroscopy,in which plasma is produced by focusing a sample with pulsed laser, and the emission spectrum of plasma is analyzed to obtain the composition and content of matter.LIBS has become a hot topic in elemental analysis due to its low cost, wide application range,no complex pre-treatment of samples, fast detection speed and in situ detection.LIBS has a good application prospect in industry, environmental protection,bio-medicine,precious objects identification, military and other fields. However,in the analysis of element types and contents, the analysis of spectral results is often affected by matrix effect,self-absorption effect, plasma shielding effect and other factors,so improving the accuracy of LIBS technology has become a major issue. In this paper, based on the introduction and basic principle of LIBS,the existing problems of LIBS and the ways of spectral enhancement are analyzed in detail, and the indexes and methods of quantitative analysis are summarized, which provides more ways for more accurate detection of LIBS.
