Influence of different field of view acquisition of Micro-CT detector on imaging parameters
Objective To explore the influence of different acquisition fields on imaging parameters base on Micro-CT imaging technology,so as to provide reasonable scanning field reference for Micro-CT in vitro scanning experiment. Methods Ten normal SD rats'right lower limbs were selected as the research object.Starting from the maximum acquisition field of vision of 4032×2688,the acquisition field of vision of the detector decreased by 10%in the X direction, and five groups of rat tibia Micro-CT image images were established.According to different acquisition fields, the group names were defined as A,B,C,D and E,and the imaging parameters of the five groups of image images were counted.BMD,BS,BS/BV,CT.Th of bone cortex;BMD,BV/TV,Tb.Pf,Tb.Th,Tb.N,Tb.Sp of trabecular bone. Results After statistical analysis of 5 groups of data under different acquisition fields, the statistical results of bone trabecula and bone cortex parameter analysis were not statistically significant between groups(P>0.05).After statistical analysis of SNR and CNR data of the five groups, there were significant differences in SNR between groups B,D and E(P<0.05),while there were no statistically significant differences in SNR among the other groups(P<0.05),while there were no significant differences in SNR among other groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between CNR groups A and C,D and B,C and E(P>0.05),but there were significant differences among other groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Micro-CT imaging technology will not affect the results of bone parameters in imaging parameters, but will affect the SNR and CNR signals in imaging. Therefore,in the process of Micro-CT imaging, the best acquisition field of view can be selected according to the geometric size of the samples collected for experimental purposes.
