Objective To construct a comprehensive evaluation system for medical equipment usage,and enhance the level of hospital equipment management.Methods The evaluation system was constructed using a combination of literature analysis,expert consultation,and fuzzy hierarchical analysis.The example of nine endoscopes was used to conduct empirical analysis through the steps of data acquisition,calculation,and scoring.Results A comprehensive evaluation system for medical equipment usage was constructed,consisting of 4 primary indicators and 18 secondary indicators.Based on the evaluation process,the efficiency of use,management ability,maintenance investment,and overall ability of the nine endoscopes were scored and ranked,and suggestions for improvement were made for areas of deficiency.Conclusion The application of the equipment usage evaluation system can enable a more efficient dynamic management mechanism,and promote the continuous improvement of equipment usage and management.
