Analysis of the ambient dose equivalent rate in test surface fluoroscopy protection area of digital subtraction angiography devices in Guangdong in 2023
Objective To understand the result of the ambient dose equivalent rate in test surface of Digital Subtraction Angiography(DSA)device fluoroscopy protection area in Guangdong in 2023,and to provide suggestions for radiation safety for interventional occupational personnel. Methods Collect and analyze the data of 142 DSA devices the ambient dose equivalent rate in test surface that from two Radiation Health Technology Service Institutions. Results The qualification rate of the first operator position and the second operator position in terms of protection was compared, and there was no significant difference in terms of statistics(P>0.05).The equivalent dose rate of the lower limbs in the first operator position and the second operator position was compared, and there was no significant difference in terms of statistics(Z=-1.381,P=0.167).The equivalent dose rate of the foot, abdomen, chest, and head in the first operator position and the second operator position was compared, and there was a significant difference in terms of statistics(P<0.05).Among them, the detection results of the foot in the first operator position were higher than those in the second operator position(Z=-3.271,P=0.001),and the detection results of the abdomen, chest, and head were lower than those in the second operator position(Z=9.477,10.004,9.471,P<0.001).Conclusions According to the methods of WS76-2020,the qualified rate of the ambient dose equivalent rate in test surface of DSA fluoroscopy protection area was high.In order to protect the occupational health of interventional radiation workers, they are required to wear lead aprons correctly and use auxiliary protective facilities reasonably.
