The circulation of supercooled 77K liquid nitrogen is an important prerequisite for maintaining the stability of the superconducting cable system. In order to avoid the phase change of circulating liquid nitrogen,it is necessary to design a low-temperature refrigeration system with high safety, low cost and convenient maintenance. The vacuuming and decompression refrigeration method is one of the important technologies in the design of superconducting cable refrigeration system due to its great potential in energy saving and environmental protection.Aiming at the problems of temperature change,gas-liquid phase state and liquid nitrogen consumption in the process of vacuuming and decompression, this paper carried out the design calculation and simulation research of the decompression refrigeration system, built a test device platform for the decompression refrigeration system, and discussed the design scheme of the decompression refrigeration system. The test results show that the actual temperature drop rate of the decompression refrigeration system is lower than the simulation data, and the measured liquid nitrogen consumption is greater than the simulation value, which has reference significance for the design of the superconducting cable decompression refrigeration system.
