Objective To analyze the current status and equity of health management personnel allocation in China from 2012 to 2021.Methods The current status of health management personnel was described using composition ratios and growth rates, while the equity of health management personnel allocation was evaluated using the Gini coefficient and Theil index.Re-sults The number of health management personnel in hospitals initially increased and then decreased, with a declining propor-tion.Their professional titles and educational backgrounds were relatively low,and the age distribution was unreasonable. The al-location of health management personnel based on population distribution was in a state of absolute fairness, with unfairness main-ly arising from within regions. However, the allocation based on geographical area distribution was in a state of significant dispari-ty,with unfairness mainly stemming from inter-regional differences. Conclusion Administrative departments and hospitals should plan health management personnel allocation according to actual needs, strengthen the construction of professional manage-ment teams, improve the mechanism for professional title promotion, and comprehensively consider geographical and population factors when allocating resources.
