This study explores the improved practices of report distribution processes in the radiology department and their positive impact on hospital-wide operations.Through collaboration with the information center and RIS vendors, the report distribution process has been comprehensively optimized and transformed, enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of reports, thereby improving both doctors'work efficiency and patients'diagnostic experiences. The application of the"more work, more pay"rule and the principle of fairness provide doctors with stronger incentives and a more equitable working environment, further enhancing doctors'work efficiency and motivation.Additionally, the implementation of report distribution functionality has short-ened the time required for report writing, allowing doctors to focus more on patient diagnosis.By strategies such as counting the charged items of assigned reports, calculating the number of body parts, selecting suitable doctors, and automatic report distribu-tion,a fair and efficient report distribution has been achieved. These optimize diagnosis processes, increase work efficiency and accuracy, and contribute positively to hospital-wide operations and patient satisfaction. This study provides useful insights and references for the optimization and reform of other departments, laying the foundation for future improvement.
