Objective To evaluate the efficiency of human resource allocation in dermatology clinics,propose optimiza-tion measures,provide a reference for strengthening outpatient lean management and improving the medical experience of derma-tology patients.Methods Collected outpatient reception data from a certain dermatology hospital from January to December 2022,analyzed the changes in outpatient volume and patient treatment efficiency,evaluated the efficiency of outpatient doctor al-location based on the current scheduling plan.Results The number of dermatology clinics showed a significant temporal trend,with more in summer and less in winter.More patients chose to seek medical treatment on weekends,reaching a peak around 9:30 am.The average visiting time of outpatient doctors was 7'7",and the efficiency of general doctors was higher than that of ex-pert doctors(P<0.05).There were differences in the visiting time of patients of different age groups and diseases(P<0.05).There was an excessive allocation of doctors in the outpatient department,resulting in resource waste.Conclusion Using HIS data to analyze and understand the efficiency of outpatient management can help dermatology hospitals to allocate medical re-sources reasonably and improve the level of hospital refined management.
