Based on the operational experience of a tertiary hospital in Tianjin during a sudden public health emergency,this study summarizes the experience of implementing the"integration of peace and wartime"model in the hospital.It further ex-plores and analyzes the treatment model for designated hospitals to cope with sudden respiratory infectious diseases.It is believed that establishing an emergency medical system integrating peace and wartime in designated hospitals involves:firstly,refining e-mergency procedures,establishing emergency medical teams,and ensuring the reserve of personnel,materials,and equipment during peacetime;secondly,activating wartime emergency mechanisms promptly,coordinating human resources planning,and strictly controlling medical quality.This article shares experiences in constructing an emergency medical system under the integra-tion of peace and wartime model,analyzes the problems encountered in responding to sudden public health emergencies,and pro-vides reference for the improvement of medical emergency systems in designated hospitals.
