Analysis of labor division among hospital equipment engineers
Hospital medical equipment is diverse,numerous,and valuable.The internal division of labor within the e-quipment management departments is to affect the enthusiasm and development potential of engineers,impacting the utilization and integrity rates of medical equipment.This article introduces the definition of medical devices,the scope and work content of equipment departments in hospitals.The work content of hospital equipment departments is divided into two major categories:management and maintenance.Management encompasses aspects such as special equipment,measuring instruments,and large e-quipment;maintenance includes inspections,preventive maintenance,and repair.This article reviews the two historical adjust-ments in the division of labor within the hospital and analyzed their advantages and disadvantages in detail.It also discusses the principles of labor division,establishing a three-tier division of labor system based on category and area.This three-level division of labor system has yielded positive results and significant achievements after several years of implementation.Looking ahead,plans are being made to introduce a job rotation system for the division of labor to enable engineers to gain experience different types of equipment,enhancing their professional experience and better contributing to the management and maintenance of hospi-tal medical equipment.
