Reflection and future of international exchange and cooperation in high-quality development of public hospitals:taking Guangdong provincial people's hospital as an example
Objective To explore the experience of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital in promoting the high-qual-ity development of hospitals through international exchanges and cooperation,and to extract the strategies and effects that can be used for reference by other public hospitals.Methods The strategic measures implemented by GDPH,such as leading superior disciplines,international research cooperation,talent introduction,and foreign aid medical activities,were analyzed,with special attention paid to its specific efforts in seeking regional development opportunities,establishing international cooperation platforms and holding high-level academic conferences.Results The study found that GDPH has significantly improved its discipline con-struction,talent team level and international influence,built an effective exchange and cooperation support system,and made substantial progress in research innovation and transformation.Conclusion To sum up,the experience of GDPH shows that sys-tematic international exchange and cooperation can effectively promote the high-quality development of public hospitals and pro-vide a new development path for public hospitals.
