Practice of Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Pathology Operations under the Lean Management
Objective:To explore the effect of the lean management in improving the operation quality and efficiency of the department of pathology.Method:Resources in the department were rationally allocated,processes improved,performance appraisal plans optimized.And the informatization technology construction was used to assist in operational quality and efficiency reform.Result:The completion rate of pathology report within the time limit was significantly increased,and the satisfaction of patients and clinicians with pathology department was significantly increased,with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The lean management realizes the closed-loop management of the whole process of pathological specimen,improves the operation quality and efficiency of the pathology department,and also improves the service quality and service connotation.
