A Survey on the Current Demand for Medical Services among the Hospitalized Patients with Different Demographic Characteristics
Objective:To investigate the status quo of medical service demands of the hospitalized patients with different demographic characteristics,and provide the references for the personalized medical services.Method:The convenience sampling method was used to select the satisfaction questionnaire data of 3,070 inpatients from 3 3A comprehensive hospitals in Sichuan Province from December 2022 to May 2023,and the scores and items of patient satisfaction were statistically analyzed.Result:In terms of age,education,payment method and department of treatment,there were statistically significant differences in patient satisfaction scores,while there were no statistically significant differences in different gender satisfaction scores.According to the specific items,patients with different demographic characteristics had statistically significant differences in satisfaction rates of medical communication,response timeliness,ward environment and identification,pain management,medication communication,meal service,attitude towards relatives and friends,and admission procedures.Conclusion:The hospitalized patients with different demographic characteristics have different concems about hospital diagnosis and treatment services.So providing targeted improvement and the personalized services is conducive to increasing patients'sense of access to medical treatment and improving the satisfaction of the hospitalized patients.
