Research on the Development Status of Medical Record Departments of the Second and the Third Grade Hospitals in Chongqing
Objective:In order to investigate the development status of the medical records department in the second and the third grade hospitals in Chongqing and provide data support for the reform of the medical records department in the city.Method:The basic information,department affiliation and operation of the medical records department of 352 second and third grade hospitals in Chongqing were investigated,and the data information was collected and sorted out with descriptive analysis.Result:The medical records department is mostly secondary departments.Most of the medical records staff are 20-30 years old in the third grade hospitals and 31-40 years old in the second grade hospitals;More women than men are in the second and the third grade hospitals;The third grade hospitals mainly offer undergraduate programs,while the second grade hospitals mainly offer specialized programs;The third grade hospitals are mostly specialized in nursing and clinical practice,while the second grade hospitals are mostly specialized in nursing;Workers in the second and the third grade hospitals mainly hold intermediate and junior professional titles;The third grade hospitals have obtained more national coding certificates and training certificates.The three-day filing of medical records,medical record services,medical record quality control,and medical record informatization need to be improved.Conclusion:The development of medical record departments in the second and the third grade hospitals in Chongqing is relatively lagging behind,and the government and hospitals should pay attention to it.
