Taking the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University as an example,a practical study was conducted on the energy consumption of steam in the centralized steam supply room of a comprehensive hospital. The relationship between sterilization pot times and supply time, and natural gas consumption was quantitatively analyzed, and the impact of drainage facilities on natural gas consumption was qualitatively analyzed. Then an easily accessible evaluation index was obtained, and a dynamic evaluation and control system for steam energy consumption in the supply room was established and put into practice, which have achieved good energy-saving effects.
