Medical assistance abroad is an important way for China to develop friendly relations with foreign countries,and it plays an important role in maintaining global health security and building a community of human health.The medical assistance to Guyana is a typical representative of Jiangsu's foreign aid medical work,during which the medical team has achieved a series of fruitful results in medical diagnosis and treatment,medical education,medical research,medical science and other fields.In the face of problems such as immature laws and policies,imperfect hardware facilities,inadequate publicity,and the obstructed language communication in the process of foreign aid,countermeasures and suggestions were proposed to improve laws and policies,enhance battlefield construction,strengthen publicity,and improve the quality of team members.
