Development status of eel industry and analysis of the impact of Anguilla Japonica's inclusion in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora
Eel is one of the important characteristic freshwater aquaculture varieties in China.Its meat is delicious,nutritious,and rich in protein and various vitamins.It is highly welcomed by consumers in domestic and international markets and has good development potential.By studying the total production of eel aquaculture over the years,the distribution of production in various regions of China,and the import and export situation of eel products,the current development status of the eel industry were analyzed.The resource situation of Anguilla japonica was analyzed,and the challenges faced by A.japonica in the development of the eel industry were pointed out.Drawing on the impact analysis of A.anguilla's entry into the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora,the positive and negative impacts of A.japonica's inclusion in the convention were elaborated.Finally,short-term construction suggestions and long-term construction goals were proposed to provide reference for the development of China's eel industry.
