Analysis of ecological and environmental problems in Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay and suggestions for its governance
Jiaozhou Bay is the"mother bay"of Qingdao and one of the great harbors in China.It is of great significance to protect and restore the ecological environment of Jiaozhou Bay.Due to years of development and utilization,Jiaozhou Bay has suffered relatively serious damage,the nearshore environment situation is still severe,marine organisms have decreased,the bay wetland area has shrunk,and ecological environmental disasters have occurred from time to time.Qingdao City proposes to turn Jiaozhou Bay into a beautiful blue bay with"clear water,green coast,tidy beach,and abundant resources".It is suggested to strengthen land pollution prevention and emission reduction,control the total quantity of pollutants into the bay,effectively reduce the development intensity of the coastal zone of Jiaozhou Bay,and continue to promote the improvement of the coastal environment of Jiaozhou Bay in accordance with the ideas of controlling the source of water pollution,preventing marine environmental accidents,and building a land-sea development community,restoring the unique ecology of Jiaozhou Bay.
