Effect of PREP Process Parameters on Properties of GH3536 Superalloy Powder
GH3536 alloy powder was prepared by Plasma Rotating Electrode Process(PREP).The effects of electrode rotation speed and current intensity on particle size and properties of GH3536 alloy were investigated. The results show that the average particle size of the powder decreases with the increase of the rotation speed. When the rotation speed is 16 000 r·min-1,the minimum particle size of D50 is 27 μm.The average diameter of the powder increases with the increase of the main arc current intensity when the rod speed is constant. When the current intensity increases from 1 300 A to 1 500 A,the particle size of the powder D50 increases from 33 μm to 42 μm.In addition, the fluidity and bulk density of GH3536 powder can be improved with the increase of rod rotation speed and main arc current. After comprehensive consideration, the parameter combination of rotation speed 14 000 r·min-1,current 1 300 A,feed speed 0.8 mm·s-1 process is the most suitable.
