Analysis of Electron Beam Cladding Additive Welding Process of Stainless Steel and Titanium Alloy
Bimetallic structures combining stainless steel and titanium alloys have found extensive applications in fields like chemical engineering,aerospace,and aviation.Based on research into welding technology for dissimilar metals,this article analyzes the performance characteristics of welding between different metals in aspects such as melting points,expansion coefficients,thermal conductivity,and specific heat capacity.Focusing on the process and characteristics of electron beam welding for dissimilar metals,it further discusses the electron beam overlay additive welding technology for stainless steel-titanium alloy.When welding stainless steel and titanium alloy using electron beam overlay additive welding technology,it is necessary to consider important aspects such as the setting of transition layers,the strength and corrosion resistance of the welding process,and gas environment protection.
