Analysis of Corrosion and Perforation Failure of Central Pipe in a Production Well of a Certain Oilfield
There is severe corrosion and perforation of the central tube in a production well in a certain oilfield.In order to identify the cause of corrosion,the corrosion failure of the central pipe was analyzed through macroscopic analysis,material analysis,water quality analysis,corrosion product analysis,corrosion simulation tests,and other methods.The analysis results show that the position of the failed pipe section is severely sanded,and the mud and sand almost fill the entire oil pipe.The erosion of the mud and sand synergizes with CO2 corrosion,leading to continuous thinning of the pipe wall and ultimately the failure of the pipe hole.
