Research on Dry Gas Seal Operation and Maintenance of Centrifugal Compressor
As a new type of sealing method for centrifugal compressors,dry gas sealing has gradually become the mainstream choice for compressor sealing with excellent sealing performance and reliability.However,the dry gas seal faces many complex problems and challenges during operation.Based on this,the operation and maintenance of dry gas seal of centrifugal compressor is studied.Firstly,the working principle of dry gas seal of centrifugal compressor is summarized,and then the types and causes of possible failures of dry gas seal during operation are discussed in detail,and targeted operation and maintenance strategies are proposed,including adding sealing gas booster system,preventing solid impurities from entering the dry gas seal,reducing the frequency of dry friction of sealing surface and strictly controlling the quality of sealing ring.In order to improve the effectiveness of operation and maintenance measures,it provides a strong guarantee for the safe operation of centrifugal compressor.
