Biomass energy is a kind of renewable energy,but also a kind of clean energy,the development and utilization of biomass energy products can realize the recycling of resources,reduce environmental pollution and resource waste,contribute to the realization of sustainable development.In the biomass pellet production line,the drying equipment is used to remove the water in the biomass pellet raw material.If the moisture content of the raw material is too high,it will lead to deliquescence and deterioration of the biomass particles during transportation and storage.The selection,structural design and operating parameters of the dryer will affect the drying efficiency,and then affect the quality of biomass particles.This paper analyzes different types of dryers,chooses tumble dryer as the ideal drying equipment for biomass pellet production line,and then focuses on the structure design of tumble dryer.
