15CrMo steel is a low-alloy steel containing chromium and molybdenum, which is widely used in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, such as the manufacturing of key equipment such as heat exchangers, due to its excellent thermal strength and good mechanical properties. The chemical composition of this steel grade endows it with good hardness and wear resistance, but mechanical properties often decrease after welding due to changes in material properties in the heat affected zone. This article provides a detailed study on the process flow of step-by-step heat treatment for 15CrMo steel heat exchangers after welding.Through experiments, the effects of different heat treatment parameters on the mechanical properties and microstructure of welded joints are verified, and targeted process optimization suggestions are proposed to improve the performance of welded joints.
