To protect the conveyor belt,the application effect of Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)is studied.This article briefly describes common faults of conveyor belts,combined with problems such as belt slippage,tearing and breaking,belt deviation,and belt blockage.Based on PLC design,a control system and protection scheme are proposed.The system uses sensors to collect belt signals,connects to PLC,and cooperates with programming to achieve automatic start stop of the conveyor,avoiding major failures of the conveyor belt that may cause production stoppage or equipment damage,improving work efficiency,and saving production costs.
