Development of a New Type of Noctilucent Hose and Its Application in Firefighting
The authors described the role and classification of noctilucent hose, proposed applying strontium aluminate with prominent comprehensive performance as luminous material of the hose through the analysis of the current manufacturing process flow of fire hose and luminous materials,and tested the hose sample by index experiments. The results showed that the luminous intensity and duration of the hose was basically in line with the actual firefighting demand and capable of provide guiding for the fire firefighters carrying out the interior attack in large space to reduce the firefighter casualty rate resulted by losing their retreating route.
