As participants in the economic and social sphere,consumers play a crucial role in achieving"Dual Carbon"goals by changing their behaviors and reducing carbon emissions from a consumer per-spective.Consumer behaviors such as energy consumption,transportation choices,food selection,product usage and consumption have significant impacts on carbon emissions with mutual interactions and influences.Positive changes in consumer behavior contribute to the attainment of"Dual Carbon"goals,but they are hindered by societal and psychological factors,which pose obstacles to goal reali-zation.Government intervention,consumer education and awareness campaigns,market incentives and economic measures all play restraining roles.There is need to employ a comprehensive approach such as utilizing policies,education and economic measures,strengthe technological innovation and re-search and development.International cooperation and multi-stakeholder engagement should also be enhanced,along with continuous assessment and adjustment of strategies to promote the achievement of"Dual Carbon"goals and effectively reduce carbon emissions.
