Will Digital Financial Inclusion Help Alleviate Relative Poverty?
After 2020,China will completely eliminate absolute poverty and enter a new stage of allevi-ating relative poverty.How to alleviate relative poverty and improve the efficiency of relative poverty management has become an important issue to be urgently solved.Based on the spatial panel data of 30 provincial-level regions from 2011 to 2020,this paper empirically studies the relationship between digital financial inclusion and relative poverty by using Spatial Durbin model.It is found that the de-gree of relative poverty shows obvious agglomeration characteristics and there is a significant positive spatial correlation.The impact of digital financial inclusion on the level of relative poverty is signifi-cant at 1%.Specifically,the coverage breadth and use depth of digital financial inclusion effectively alleviates relative poverty.The upgrading of theindustrial structureis conducive to alleviating the rel-ative poverty in the surrounding areas.
