Research on Traditional Residential Buildings in Xiaogan under the Background of Rural Revitalization:Taking the Traditional Residential Buildings in Xiangmiao Village of Xiaowu Township in Xiaochang County as an Example
Architecture is the solidification of history and traditional residential buildings are the con-centration of local history.Xiaogan is located at the border of Hubei,Henan and Anhui provinces and also one of the birthplaces of Chu culture with a rich cultural heritage.Traditional residential build-ings in Xiaogan gather diverse cultural connotations with exquisite designs and rich cultural heritage.This article takes rural revitalization as the historical background and takes the traditional residential buildings in Xiangmiao Village of Xiaowu Township in Xiaochang County as the starting point with the aim to analyze and study the historical and cultural value and practical commercial value of tradi-tional residential buildings in Xiaogan and explore new ways to protect traditional residential build-ings.
