This paper presents a discriminant method of generalized positive definite matrix and illus-trates the relationship between eigenvalues and generalized positive definite matrix with several exam-ples.Firstly,the matrix whose eigenvalues are greater than zero may not be generalized positive defi-nite matrix.secondly,a matrix whose real part of the eigenvalue is greater than zero is not necessarily a generalized positive definite matrix.
