Study on Agricultural Production Efficiency in Rural and Pastoral Areas of Inner Mongolia——Based on Three-stage DEA Model
The key to promoting high-quality agricultural development is to optimize agricultural production input and improve agricultural production efficiency.Based on statistical data from 12 leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia, this study used a three-stage DEA model to measure the agricultural production efficiency of rural and pastoral areas in Inner Mongolia. The results showed that, without excluding the effects of environmental factors and random errors, the agricultural production efficiency in rural and pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia was at a relatively high level, after excluding the effects of environmental factors and random errors, the comprehensive technical efficiency and pure technical efficiency of agricultural production in rural and pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia decreased, while scale efficiency increased;in addition, per capita disposable income of farmers and herdsmen, agricultural, forestry and water affairs expenditures, transportation conditions, etc.all had a significant positive effect on agricultural production efficiency, while urbanization level of urbanization had a significant negative effect. Therefore, this paper proposes some measures such as optimizing the government's financial expenditure structure for agriculture, improving the level of agricultural resource allocation, appropriately expanding agricultural production scale, and advancing the modernization of agriculture, etc in orde to promote the stable improvement of agricultural production efficiency in rural and pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia.
